Create a basic drawing of a plane shape.

Parameters

shapeShape

The shape to be drawn.

axmatplotlib.axes.Axes, optional

The axes to draw on. If not provided, a new figure and axes will be created.

**kwdsdict

Additional keyword arguments to pass to the ShapeArtist.
